I used to know what to do 

Now I just

Gratefully

and

 Gleefully

                                       Mysterious experience

Studying and plan

For a whole lifespan 

Now it's time for some motion

 I'll start a commotion

Good lucks what happens when you're ready

 But nothing changes without working  steady 

I'll take one more shot we are all dead meat

 I might just wind up with something real neat

Predicament

Sometimes I think I run this show
But then I realize I'm in a flow
Of past decisions and dumb reactions
Not much planning and many distractions
We must all pay the price that's asked
For acts and choices that have long past
I can think and dream and lay my plans
And still wind up failing most exams
I'll be joyous, grateful and see the humor
Even if it's just a prostate tumor

One more

Chance

One more day on planet earth 

I'll be sure to fill it with joy and mirth

This may be the last one that I’ll know 

I'll stay awake and savor the show 

Almost 30,000 days have passed 

The mystery grows until the last 

There's so much new I want to learn 

And I have free time with no concern 

It's the blessing of old age

Maybe someday I'll become a stage

The most important thing 

In my life 

Is within my power to change  

( my attitude )

It's so cold, I can't stand the heat 

My back always hurts and so do my feet 

But

There's gas in the car and great places to go 

Electric, plumbing and a plow for the snow 

Now

I will direct my thoughts to always be grateful 

Kind, present, humorous, and playful

The most important thing 

In my life 

Is within my power to change  

( my attitude )

I don't know when
